About the Minnesota JCC
More than a Gym, A Community.
The Minnesota JCC is a vibrant hub of cultural, recreational, educational, and social activities serving individuals and families in the Twin Cities. Committed to promoting Jewish values and fostering community, the Minnesota JCC offers programs and events for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Our Mission
Inspired by Jewish values and culture, we ignite the human spirit through programs and services that promote well-being, foster inclusivity and strengthen the entire community.

Our History
On January 1, 2021, the Minnesota JCC was born from the merger of the St. Paul JCC and Sabes JCC. The merger built upon shared Jewish values and cultures, emphasizing what has always mattered most: serving others, fostering inclusivity, strengthening community, practicing mutual respect, and pursuing excellence and innovation.

Building Community, Together
Community support ensures that the JCC remains vital and impactful – promoting well-being, fostering inclusivity, and strengthening our entire community. Membership dues and program fees provide only a portion of the funding needed to make these experiences possible, and we rely on philanthropic support to build a stronger, more connected, and inclusive community.
Minnesota Foundation
The Minnesota JCC Foundation’s sole purpose is to support the Minnesota Jewish Community Center through holding and managing the JCC’s real estate assets and endowment and restricted funds. Gifts to the Minnesota JCC Foundation provide sustainable support for all the vital programs and services that make the J what it is, for generations to come.

Board of Directors
The Minnesota JCC Board of Directors brings together experienced leaders who share a deep commitment to our mission and long-term vision. With diverse backgrounds across industry, finance, governance, and community leadership, they provide strategic oversight, ensure accountability, and help guide sustainable growth.

Culture of Safety
The Minnesota JCC strives to create and constantly enhance, a Culture of Safety. Our high standards and clear expectations guide policies, practices, and processes, helping us to identify high-risk interactions and program characteristics.

Inclusion
We provide opportunities to people of all ages, abilities, races, backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations for inclusion in all programs. Our inclusion philosophy is woven into the fabric of each department at the J. We work to build community where everyone acknowledges and respects people’s differences, while celebrating everyone’s inherent uniqueness.
